Jun. 10th, 2003 10:06 amA life insurance policy's suicide clause is normally only effective over the first two or three years of the policy, based on the logic that beyond that point, the insurance company is satisfied that the policy was purchased in good faith. I know this because I have a friend who sells insurance for a living.
LiveJournal readers don't really have to worry about this, but anyone else who wants to have fun at my expense today, or annoy me in any way whatsoever?
Check your policy to see if there's a suicide clause still in effect.

Date: 2003-06-10 07:58 am (UTC)Stargate ... right. My chances of being able to see that are running less than fifty-fifty, and my chances of taping it are approaching zero. Yankees on the tube. No way to watch one channel and tape another. Satellite dish doesn't allow for that. :(
I didn't even know they were giving out awards for Stargate stuff ... well, in principle, I knew they existed, but no idea. I suppose the story can always be entered next year, right?
Sorry about being cranky...
