bktheirregularMy brother was just mentioning that he knew several people who got imprisoned for being in the wrong place at the wrong time in the City this past week.
One case: a fellow went out for lunch with a buddy of his, their path intersected a demonstration, the one guy realized what was happening and skedaddled, but the other guy didn't bug out in time, got caught in a net, and ended up imprisoned for two days.
To review:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."
Cripes, I'm worried about the future of this country.
