Medical insurance
Sep. 15th, 2003 11:07 amJust got the forms for paying one's own insurance. Now I think I understand why so many people don't have health insurance: if you don't have lots of money up front, you can't get covered worth a damn.
There's a two-hundred-a-month plan, but they don't pay anything until you've shelled out ten thousand dollars, and you still have to pay half even after that. The "basic and essential" coverage is four hundred ninety-five dollars on its own.
Even HMO's are four hundred a month.
Failures in the job hunt are weighing on me more and more by the day. By the hour, even.
This can't go on.
