You're in charge of a shipping line serving the Greek islands. You've just been told that the line's acquired some new boats: four catamaran-hulled ferries capable of cruising at thirty-five knots, carrying four hundred passengers apiece, with room on their garage decks for sixty cars. These are the fastest, most modern boats in service in the eastern Med.

What do you name those four ships?

Prize: a Coke bottle full of genuine Cycladic beach sand to the most evocative answer. And another bottle to the closest guess to what they actually got named...

Funny note: if I have my facts straight, the original name of the Britannic was gonna be the Gigantic. Which idea got quickly changed about the time of the iceberg...

Correctamundo. (Became a moderate Titanic geek when I was in the musical last year.)

That at least shows imagination,

Oh, dear. So O'Neill, Carter, Jackson and Teal'c are right out.

and I think the shipping line's Marketing Department decided what to name the ferries...

Eeny, Meeny, Miney, Mo?

Athens, Ilium, Sparta, Korinth?

Ferry, Ship, Boat, Barge?

One, Two, Three, Four?

Just how unimaginative are we talking here?
