bktheirregularGot to sleep very late last night, after organizing my travel bags; woke up later than I wanted to. What woke me up, actually, was a phone call from a law-school classmate, saying:
"I've got this project going on, and I want you in on it. I want to hire you. Can you meet me at the law school tomorrow?"
On the day I frelling leave the country, no less. No joke: I leave for the airport in forty minutes as I'm typing this... *groan*
Up side: we agreed that I'd call her when I got back in-country, and it's not a problem that I'm not bar-certified yet. I don't know what the project is, except that it involves people who lost loved ones when the Towers fell.
Maybe I'll be a working man again when I get home?
For now, signing off. Will reopen the journal when I reach the Balkans, if the technology allows it.
