Mornings, as a rule, tend to bite.

I woke up this a.m. and managed to put a serious kink in my neck and shoulder, looked at my watch and realized I'd forgotten to wind it over the past few days (how antique is that? a watch that actually has to be wound?).

And the dim realization that there are nine days left until the bar exam. Er, ten. Nine until I have to leave for Albany. Not looking forward to it.

Then another week later, I've got the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam for New York, about which I'm fairly hopeful, but still not looking forward to it.

And one bit of good news: the part of my family that I'm not busy cooking for this summer has offered to spring for a plane ticket to southeastern Europe. Don't have the energy to be excited, but will try and find a ticket that doesn't break budgets...
