I just had to respond to a review of a story, telling the guy: thanks for the feedback, but could you PLEASE dial back on the profanity?
Maybe it's just me. I tend to reserve the harshest words for special occasions. (At my last job, actually, I once spat out a curse, and the reactions were something like: "This is bad." "He doesn't curse.")
I know, I know, we should be grateful for the feedback we get. But still...
