Life in 2020

It's been almost a year since I posted on this thing. Wow.

Well, life gets distracting, I suppose. Greece is calm - the fascists are out on the fringe rather than entrenched in the halls of power. Exile is harder to escape than I could wish for, especially since it looks like the world's staring down the barrel of what might be a pandemic.

My hope is that whatever it is doesn't impact transatlantic travel in early May - which is when I'm next escaping to the US for quality time.

If all goes well, I'll be in the DC area for about a week.

Feels like there should be more to say, but work intrudes.

I would love to get together with you -- but we will need to work out scheduling; I have a minor medical thing that had to be rescheduled to May because of the horrible month-long cold. Can we talk in IM when you know your schedule? Or, actually, I can IM you when I'm on the other computer (the one with the working schedule -- ah, the troubles with older computers!)
