Is it just me, or is it incredibly rude for someone with a private office, with a door, to shout at people into the telephone without that door being closed, so the entire larger office hears and gets distracted by the shouting?

(That's why I end up closing the door to the office I share, climate-control issues be damned.)

(Then again, lack of consideration seems to be a general characteristic around here. Which may explain some of the nation's problems.)
