Why don’t they ever go smooth?

Bright side: I’ve still got DSL even though my phone line’s cut off in preparation for the move.

Not so bright side: Carpenter was supposed to put in my kitchen cabinets earlier this week, then delayed until this afternoon, and he never showed.  They say he’s supposed to be by tomorrow, and I hope that’s the case, because the painter can’t finish until the cabinets are in place, and the electrician can’t finish until the painter’s done, and I can’t move in until all of them are done.
