Sometimes it's all just beep
Jun. 28th, 2010 05:17 pmMonday morning:
Partner (on phone, in Greek): "That amended agreement that came in late Friday. Have you finished the translation yet?" (Note: the thing was about twenty pages long, redlined all over the place.)
Me: "No, but I'll have it done today."
Partner: "Today as in this evening, or today as in an hour from now?"
Me: "Not an hour, but by this afternoon it'll be done."
Finished amending the translation at about a quarter to 2.
Monday late afternoon:
Partner (in English): "That agreement was pretty much bullbeep, wasn't it?"
Clients. Can't live with 'em, can't put bread on the table without 'em.
