Expensive stupid

Went to swat a fly that got into the apartment. Swung at it, whacked my hand against my laptop screen.

Screen went crack and all crazed. Bye-bye laptop (well, data can be salvaged, but the laptop itself is only useful if plugged into a monitor from this point forward)...

Hand's ok - the screen was just fragile. Bright side, I was able to sort of re-purpose the laptop to serve as a home-theater doohickey, so I can pick up baseball in the living room if I sign up again this year...
