Woke up to the phone this morning - a law firm on Wall Street is looking for associates. Medical malpractice defense - basically the flip side of the ambulance chasers.

Interview is Friday afternoon.

Even if it means my muses are going into lockdown for a while ... I need the job. I need to feel like I'm a person again instead of a waste of space.

Er, and I appreciate the cheering going on from your demons, but shouldn't they have their noses to the grindstone or something? Take the pressure off you a bit?

They're doing something other than whining, "We don't WANNA write this!" and trying to point out that I'll be in the thick of material for my TGS assignment in 4 months. It's an improvement, and it's a cause worthy of giving them a break. :)
