The good, the bad, the et cetera
Sep. 3rd, 2009 02:05 pmGood: The Athens Metro's blue line is back up and running, after being truncated since February. So I can once again get to some places in the outskirts of Athens that have been closed to me since then.
Bad: Snap elections in Greece. Voting for a new government in a month, and I don't know enough to cast an intelligent ballot. Well, that plus I'm either disillusioned or actively frightened by the platform of every political party I know of here. It's a shame nobody ever set up a Monster Raving Loonintern.
Ugly: Workload at the office the first couple of days of the month. How I kept up, I don't know.
Iffy: The situation with the new apartment. There's supposed to be a document somewhere that clears the title. I don't know.
Squick: Roaches infiltrating the apartment. Can't find roach traps or bait, so I'm reduced to insecticide sprays, which are not so healthy in a small apartment. Thank goodness the Geneva Conventions don't apply.
WTF: Curt Schilling for United States Senate? No. Just no.
