Another bonus from the army

Had a persistent cough for about two weeks (at least since Tuesday before last, when we had our three-hundred-meter shoot and a couple of punks got two days on report for laughing when I let out a hacking cough while standing at attention). Got put on an antibiotic regimen, followed it, and felt somewhat better but not fully. Then I came back for my leave and it was like my body suddenly realized that it hadn't cashed a paycheck. Pain everywhere, and I started spiking a fever.

Makes for a less than enjoyable leave.
