bktheirregularJust got a call from Athens - the firm just got back the paperwork for my work permit, the one I'd given up on when I decided to go for the citizenship option.
Nothing's settled yet, but the gist of the call was to check that if I were to file for a visa, it'd be from the New York consulate. Double-checking the procedures now ... and, of course, now I can't seem to get the info for the various stages of the procedure. The Greek consular web sites are a godawful mess. The US Embassy in Athens isn't much more help with its web site.
More dealing with the bureaucrats upcoming. The consulate is open tomorrow despite Election Day.
Life just speeded up again.
