bktheirregularOn the island, safe and sound. The family's house is empty, save for me, and the only hitch in the plan is that I couldn't find the swim trunks that I'd been told were definitely left behind after the last visitors left. (Will improvise. Exercise shorts should do in a pinch.)
Weather conditions are hot, but not brutal like they were in Athens. Helps to have some wind, and much less smog.
Boat trip took six hours, partly because of some chop in the seas, partly because I was going on the slow boat (the cat-hull ferry does the trip in three hours; I took the mono-hull roll-on roll-off ferry, which is more the lifeblood of the islands, but takes twice as long to get there).
Might connect again before returning to Athens; not sure. On dialup here.
