According to reports suzvoy passed along, anyone listing an interest on LJ that's considered objectionable by a group calling themselves "Warriors for Innocence" is getting deleted. Which is about like trying to kill off a cockroach in midtown Manhattan by setting off a nuke.

Remember, first they came for the Communists...

This is the first I've heard a name for the group. All the indications I've seen so far was that it was an urban legend that sprang up to explain the LJ problems late last week (actually the result of a DDoS attack).

So now I'm confused. Is the UL taking on more dimensions, or is something going on coincidentally? Must check it out...

Yeah. And the more I think about it, the more I think it is like trying to kill a cockroach in the western Loop with a strategic nuke: lots of wreckage, innumerable casualties, and no guarantee that you'll get the roach you were aiming for.

Grr. Arrgh. And the Moral Majority lives.
