Overhead noise

So apparently, this Sunday is the Greek Independence Day (when they broke away from the Turks). Day of celebration, all that jazz. Probably parades, what have you.

According to a co-worker, they're doing dress rehersals, which accounts for why I've been hearing fighter jets screaming overhead at low altitude all morning, interspersed with low-flying military helicopters passing by in formation.

Sounds like it might be a long day.
