bktheirregular| Lift Control There are a number of points where being a stranger in a strange land can be kind of humorous. Like seeing a parking garage which says "ΙΔΙΩΤΙΚΗ PARKING" (it means private, not moron). Or the lift control panel in my apartment building, shown here; particularly the control second from the bottom, below the basement button, marked "ΣΤΑΣΙΣ". |

Actually, "στασις" is the noun-form of "stop", but it's still quite amusing.
