bktheirregularBetween myself and my family here in Athens, we've been trying to get a phone line installed in my apartment since ... well, since about the 11th of January. Today, we finally got an appointment to install the phone line.
On March 15.
January 11 - March 15 ... over two months. And that's for the phone line; no telling how much longer after that I'll have to wait to get DSL installed.
Think my journal may need a new tag.

I'm given to understand that it used to take 10 years to get a phone installed by the Indian (state run) phone company (Probably during the work week, at some unspecified time between 9 and 5). The situation changed recently (and explosively) with the cell phone revolution.
