Suitcases are packed for the Big Move. (Scary, that I got almost everything into two suitcases, including a desktop computer with widescreen monitor. I may end up having to pay a weight penalty on check-in, but I'm hoping that I got the mass distribution finessed enough.) All that's left is my satchel.
Still got my laptop, though (so long as it holds together - it's behaving like the Millenium Falcon on a bad day, with me telling it to behave through my teeth. Often, it's working great; sometimes, though, it flat-out refuses to turn on). So ... today and tomorrow and Wednesday morning, I'm still online. After that ...
...well, it gets complicated. First I've got to get a phone line in the apartment. Then I've got to arrange for DSL service - which will likely be a headache and a half in its own right. Leaning on people I can't talk techie with - I'm not fluent in techie Greek, unfortunately - and hoping I don't get screwed sideways.
So I may be offline for a couple or three weeks after I arrive in Athens. In other words, nobody'll notice any difference from the way I normally update.
