Kid brother graduated from college yesterday. Very nice occasion, marred somewhat by blistering sun. Various family members got rather cooked, including myself (right arm is the approximate shade of a broiled lobster).

Oddly for Memorial Day, mail came today, including new insurance policy (small things that mean rather a lot). Got randomly assigned a new physician, but hopefully, the endocrine specialist will be able to keep on following my case.

Rather tired. Perhaps a result of being charred yesterday.

Wow, your kid brother graduated from college? I hadn't realized how old he was.

Well ... I'm old, and he's only five, six years younger. Took him a while to get his feet back under him.

For some reason I was thinking he was a *lot* younger, like, in high school. I have no idea why!
