The evening before

bktheirregularAnd the majority of packing is complete. Just about my whole life is now in boxes in a moving truck in the driveway.
The living room echoes when one speaks in it, surprising until one realizes that it's not a living room any more, just a wide open empty box with nothing to deflect the sound.
We're all teetering on the edge of exhaustion now, but this is probably the worst of it. The moving-in process should be somewhat less hectic.
Maybe one more post from suburbia tomorrow morning, before I unhook the house from the information superhighway, and carry that connection with me into the city that never sleeps.
