Hitting the bricks.

Phone calls today. One good part of visiting the Academy again yesterday was that I got a list of people who would be good to call, people who might know where I can find the type of work I need to find.

My cell phone remains stubbornly silent. And before anyone says it, yes, I did check the battery.

*sigh* Need lemon drops. The half-crystal-clear kind. I forget who makes them, and am slightly annoyed that Kings doesn't carry them any more.

Maybe popcorn. There was another kind of comfort food that almost came to mind ... but I can't think of what it is to save my life...

Nope, no blue hands. Although I was part of a Blue Hand Group of sorts, I suppose - but I didn't wear Armani or Brooks Brothers with the gloves, just a jumpsuit.

And the Academy I was at yesterday isn't nearly as competent as the one of which you speak...
