Good news.
Nov. 8th, 2005 01:25 pmNo, I didn't save a bunch of money by switching my insurance to Geico. Though I did get a bunch of money from Geico, but that's another matter entirely.
Going to vote in a little while - I woke up early, feeling all civic, and then conked out again until the doorbell rang. (Did ya know that was the name of a Nero Wolfe novel? With a special guest appearance by J. Edgar Hoover?)
It turned out it was my laptop computer being returned from Dell.
The laptop which burned out its screen backlight nine days ago, which I informed Dell about eight days ago, and which a courier delivered a box to pack it in and another courier took away seven days ago.
Same laptop I'm typing this entry on now.
