bktheirregularWrenched my back last weekend - spent half of the long weekend wincing whenever I bent down to pick up anything. Carried over to work - pain got intense enough I figured I should take a day off yesterday to rest up, let myself heal a little.
Did that; felt a bit better. E-mail to supervisor in the middle of the night before(part of the reason I figured it was best to take off the day; sleeplessness would probably exacerbate the problem).
Got in this morning and was greeted by a co-worker who didn't even notice I was gone until almost lunchtime.
*sigh* Nothing like going missing and having nobody notice to give your self-esteem a shot in the arm.
