Meme time.
Aug. 26th, 2005 06:10 pmThis came from
honorh, though I've seen it all over the place today.
(Incidentally, does anyone else think that maybe memes are used sometimes to put one's creativity into gear?)
So here's the meme:
First, write down the names of 12 characters. Then read and answer the questions. You can't look at the questions (or click on the cut) until you write down the 12 characters you're going to use.
Here's my list.
1. Jack O'Neill
2. Aeryn Sun
3. Miles O'Brien
4. Han Solo
5. Jack Sparrow
6. Luke Skywalker
7. Colonek Mikhail Fetisov (Citizen X)
8. Andy Dufresne
9. Ellis Boyd "Red" Redding
10. Samantha Carter
11. Xander Harris
12. Inara Serra
And here are the questions and my answers.
Have you ever read a Six/Eleven fic? Do you want to?
No, and my kingdom for a spork!
Do you think Four is hot? How hot?
I can dispassionately file Han Solo under "hot", but he's not my type (wrong gender), and I can't quantify his hotness.
What would happen if Twelve got Eight pregnant?
Couldn't happen unless you were in one of those Red Dwarf alternate universes. But the other way around, Andy would probably make a good father.
Can you rec any fic(s) about Nine?
Don't know of any. Not anxious to go looking.
Would Two and Six make a good couple?
If Aeryn could put up with John Crichton, she could put up with Luke Skywalker. *g*
Five/Nine or Five/Ten? Why?
Red would want nothing to do with Jack Sparrow. Sam Carter, in her younger days, might find him rather intriguing.
What would happen if Seven walked in on Two and Twelve having sex?
He would quickly turn around, try and hide his embarassment, and ask if they wouldn't mind simply taking care not to knock down the official portrait of the Comrade Chairman while they went about their business.
Make up a summary for a Three/Ten fic.
"Chief O'Brien would never have guessed the thousand-and-second use for a self-sealing stem bolt."
Is there any such thing as One/Eight fluff?
Two worlds of no.
Suggest a title for a Seven/Twelve hurt/comfort fic.
The Wall Comes Tumbling Down.
What kind of plot device would you use if you wanted Four to deflower One?
Zombie clones under alien mind control.
Does anyone on your friends list read Seven slash?
I'll lay seven to one odds nobody on my friends list has even heard of Citizen X; as for Fetisov slash? More like a hundred thousand to one. I'm not sure such a creature exists.
Does anyone on your friends list read Three het?
Maybe
yahtzee63. Possibly
rheanna27. Doubtful many others do.
Does anyone on your friends list write or draw Eleven?
Probably more than I can count.
Would anyone on your friends list write Two/Four/Five?
I suspect spontaneous brain meltdowns spanning my entire f-list at the concept.
What might Ten scream at a moment of great passion?
Er ... maybe I better not go there.
If you wrote a song-fic about Eight, which song would you choose?
Mellencamp's Paper in Fire? I dunno. I don't know from nothing about songfic.
If you wrote a One/Six/Twelve fic, what would the warnings be?
"The Surgeon General has determined that the following fic is invariably fatal. Do not read beyond this point if you wish to survive the night."
What might be a good pick-up line for Two to use on Ten?
"That's a rather formidable-looking weapon. May I?"
When was the last time you read a fic about Five?
Couple or three weeks back.
* * * * * * * * * *
hm. Interesting.
Doesn't kick-start the creativity engine, though.
