Back home.
Jul. 24th, 2005 04:12 pmAdjusting for time zones, I've been on the go since 10pm last night, longer if you count hearing screaming kids in my cousin's house.
What's happened? Got ripped off by a cabbie at the seaport. Airport snafu again, in which I had to sprint across half of the Eleftherios Venizelos airport because they switched gates at the last minute. Then late getting in the air - only a half hour this time, which meant that instead of missing my flight, I had to sprint again to be sure I caught it - and the Frankfurt airport had three redundant security checks between where I got off the one plane and where I got on the other.
Then seven hours in the air behind a baby who apparently wants to grow up to be an air-raid siren.
But I'm home.
