Today I wore my IT Guy Hat at the campaign office, and I was given a computer to bring back to working condition.

The thing was stiff with viruses, including one I can't seem to shake off it.

Anyone know how to nuke the Downloader.GK trojan?

I don't, but this (http://computercops.biz/postp213843.html) mentions it as showing up, and cleaned by the end of the process.

Thanks. Looks intimidating, though.

I think I may be leaning towards the Ripley Option - nuke the thing from orbit. It's the only way to be sure...
