An oddly acquired rec.
Jun. 9th, 2003 01:28 amI went searching for a M*A*S*H quote the other day - something about B.J. having the 1812 Overture - by Spike Jones - and Google coughed up something interesting. I took a look and found this:
Discharge by Death.
A Columbo mystery, taking place at the 4077th MASH. Obviously with a much younger Columbo, but still recognizably Columbo. I drew mental pictures of some of the scenes and had to mentally edit out the shabby raincoat. The gang at the 4077th is also very much in character; Hawkeye still does about thirty-five puns a minute, Major Charles Emerson Winchester still has an ego the size of a battleship, Klinger's still trying to get that Section Eight, and Radar still does that thing where he knows what you want before you ask for it. And Colonel Flagg ... but I've said too much already. If you like Columbo or M*A*S*H, go. Read. Now.
Goodnight, all.
Close entry.
