Downside of being a temp
May. 2nd, 2003 10:33 amFor the past couple of weeks, I was working in a supply room with a window that they hadn't yet converted into a lunch room. This was okay, because the place had a desk, a plug, and a network jack, so I could work there.
Today I got punted out of that space to make room for construction people, and put down in a cubicle belonging to a full-time worker who's on vacation or assignment or something. I can't put my files anywhere for fear of disturbing his photographs or screwing up his files or knocking over his Zen garden.
Oh yeah, the Zen garden. Except this one's like a putting green. Zen golf course?
Nah, can't be. I found a ball in the hole.
Close entry.
