The whatever-it-is that's been scrabbling around the attic the past few days seems to have stopped. Not sure whether that's a good sign.

Got no idea on the ref. Gorram. Oh, and it turns out that we got a nest of flying squirrels. So says the pest control guy who came by and did some mojo in the crawlspaces. I suppose it could've been worse. Coulda been a moose.

Downside of the snow: seventeen inches of snow plus fifty degrees of mercury is gonna equal floods.

As for the bar ... Tuesday, nine AM, begins Day 1 in Albany. It ends one hundred forty-four miles away, Thursday at 4 or 5 PM.

Gonna be a long frelling week next week. On top of which I'm missing the new Buffy.

Ah well. Sacrifices must be made...
