Wash: The Firefly thing attracted me. Plus, gratuitous Han Solo reference, and I sometimes daydream about piloting a tramp freighter between the stars. Icon from the magnificentneonhummingbird.
Viper: One of a series done by the lovely and talentedtaraljc. I'm a starfighter geek, so I had to grab for it.
Yogi: Done during the baseball postseason, trying to think of a good way to do the famous Yogi Berra quote: "it ain't over 'til it's over." Icon was done by a no-talent hack with delusions of grandeur who shall remain nameless to protect this blog from a defamation suit.
*sigh* Computer's rebuilt. Need to work more on issue spotting.
Downside: six days to bar.
Upside: birthday present shipped, en route soon.
Random pondering: with almost eight hundred miles between New York and Chicago, is it too much of an adventure to take a day to drive west, spend a few days, then take a day to drive east?
With finances a little squeaky, and the thought that it's been a long time since I had an actual adventure, that may be the plan ... very tentative, tho'...
