If I were to make a reference to Victory Gin, say in response to a comment about Freedom Fries, would anybody out there understand what I was referring to?

Alas, probably not anyone who would seriously use the phrase "freedom fries."

And if they did remember where it came from, I have little faith in their getting the connection. *sigh*

It's possible I've gotten too cynical about all this. (That would be the Universe's cue to prove me wrong...)
