How annoying is it when you sign on to a messenger program, see someone's name up there, think "hey! Haven't talked to this person in a while, maybe I should say hi?", click the name, and right as you're typing "hello", the message comes up: "This user has signed off."

*sigh*

Minor annoyance. Piddling trifling little thing. But it would have been one more nice human contact on New Year's Eve.

Crashes, as a rule, do not get interpreted as rudeness. :) Was merely wailing about the bad timing and poor luck that leads to one person signing on while the other person is in the last stages of signing off - unavoidable, I suppose.
