Strike One: Went to the job listings site indicated by my law school career office, that would have the listings geared towards Seton Hall grads ... and was greeted with the message "Your account has expired. Sign up now for $15.95 a month to get the listings."

I've been looking for work for so long now, I don't think I even count as a jobless statistic any more. And now this. Is it any wonder people are giving up?

Strike Two: Went into the basement to help with cleanup after the Nineteenth Flood of 2003, and got rabbit-punched by the humidity ... and the mold which is reasserting itself down there. Breathing problems, for me, have been an ugly, distant memory ... except when I get into that basement.
