Another coping mechanism
Oct. 14th, 2003 04:19 pmJust as a precaution, I did a sweep of my bedroom and my office area, taking anything that could be classified as an implement of destruction and tucking it away in a shoebox.
Once it was done, oddly, I felt a lot calmer. Maybe it was the sense one gets from actually doing something, no matter how small, or maybe it was a tiny sense of safety.
Either way. It's a bit of an improvement.
