1. Poring over my bookshelf, I was reminded for some reason of the Star Trek book "The Final Reflection". That was the one dealing with Klingon society, which I think I once saw compared to a book on the samurai or something. Has anyone else in LJ land ever run across that one?

2. Comment from yahtzee63 brought Barney the dinosaur to mind, which led to a memory about a lawsuit - Barney's owners suing the San Diego Chicken for copyright infringement. Seems there was a sketch where the Chicken was dancing on the field, Barney loped onto the pitch, and a dance competition ensued. Apparently some people haven't heard of the parody exemptions in intellectual property law. And apparently those same people thought that poultry could be brought into court as something other than a sandwich...

Yes! it's one of Mike Ford's 2 Trek books (the other being the utterly faboo How Much For Just The Planet?) and I ADORE it, and sued to work stuff from it into all my VOY fic what dealt with Klingons (Kai the author!)
