Thoughts on "Chosen"

bktheirregularLoved, loved that they had that one moment before the battle, when all the new blood had scattered to their positions, and it was just the Original Scoobies - Giles, Willow, Xander, and Buffy - just like back in the very beginning. "The world is doomed," indeed. Full circle ... no kidding. And very very nice.
As for the solution - the creation of the Slayer Army? That's gotta put a kink in Joss's world. Wonder if there'll be fallout from that next year on "Angel".
Not sure what to make of Spike's fate, though. Well, on the one hand, it's pretty clear: if they'd wanted some question left in the minds of the viewers, they would have cut away two seconds after his last laugh ... but they didn't. Then again, Darla was dust, too. Didn't seem to stop her.
Liked the music of the last battle. Don't know why that pops into my mind.
Oh, and back at the beginning ... the coup de grace on Caleb? Let's just say that I didn't wince. Well, okay, I winced at the pun. Didn't Arnold Schwarzenegger use that pun once?
