Hey, it's a new year!
Jan. 2nd, 2011 11:10 amYeah, I missed New Year's Day. Happy new year to all! (Except those whose calendar turns over on a different day.)
In New York, it's 52 degrees on January 2nd. This is Not Normal Weather.
Flying back to Athens this coming Thursday - it's been an enjoyable time in The City, and I'm glad I made the trip, but part of me is looking forward to going back to my apartment. That's something I couldn't say about the old hole in the wall.
New Year's resolutions? Try to write more. (Work permitting.) Try to stay in touch with people better. I think I was starting to work on that before the new year rolled around, but there were some circumstances beyond my control. Transit strikes stranding people in Athens's outer boroughs and the like ... not pleasant.
Hopefully fewer riots this year than last, but that's not really under my control.
And hopefully work remains stable.
Happy New Year, all.
