Minor whoops
Sep. 20th, 2010 03:00 pmWent out for a walk yesterday, stopped in an Everest (like a coffee shop/snack shop, something like that), and got a slice of pizza.
(This probably marks the first time I got pizza for myself in Greece.)
And I forgot my coin wallet on the counter.
Realized it when I was back on the road, a block away. Of course, by then, it was gone.
Total loss: not much. Less than five euros in change, plus the value of the wallet, which probably represented the vast majority of the lost value. (At any rate, it wouldn't have come close to covering the cost of the replacement coin wallet.)
(Yes, I got a new coin wallet. Coins wear out pockets pretty quickly if carried loose. Probably a lot like keys.)
(Maybe I need a key holder.)
(Except that the big honking security key to my apartment door probably wouldn't fit in one.)
