bktheirregularTemporary agency came through with a clerical opening. Not too exciting, but hey,it's work. Even if it is only for a couple of weeks.
Even with help from the family, unemployment is becoming not just a stigma or a pinch, but a vise-grip. Add to that the other worries of 21st-century life - I'd have a nervous breakdown except I haven't got the energy for it.
I look at the newspaper and despair. I listen to the news and my stomach flips.
Something has got to give.
