I read the news today, oh, boy
Oct. 11th, 2007 01:44 pmIt isn't that the Yankees lost. It isn't even that the Red Sox are still playing.
But I read this and my blood still boils.
Nobody, anywhere, has a right to kick other people while they're down.
Part of me wants to wish the Boston team well; part of me (the part I'm ashamed of, the part that I fear) wants to see them humiliated in Fenway and pulverized in Jacobs Field.
Both parts are in consensus, though:
Red Sox fans? You can show compassion. You can show good sportsmanship. You can show a little decency.
Or you can [censored] rot in hell.
[edited to clean up post-by-email glitches. And yeah, I know, I've got deep seated schoolyard-bully taunting issues.]
