Spent the last week inventorying paperwork on leased Boeing 737's (long story, boring story, nothing to see here). Trying (and failing) to connect with the few people I know in Athens outside my family (family's one thing, but a social life beyond them is a must). Still some things that need to be nailed down before I can truly call myself settled in, including the telephone (without which I can't get a DSL line in place). Did have success at buying a two-month Starbucks wifi account card, so I can now surf without bundling up like Nanook of the North (believe it or not, at night in Athens it does get quite cold).

Contemplating the weekend, and contemplating doing one or two things that might be categorized as cosmically stupid.
