"He's tried this two times - it's failed twice. I asked him at the White House:
Ms. PELOSI: Mr. President, why do you think this time it's going to work?
Mr. BUSH: Because I told them it has to.
Ms. PELOSI: Why didn't you tell them that the other two times?"
Anyone with a sliver of common sense should know: Murphy's Law doesn't give a damn who's giving the orders. (And if that's not a quote from somewhere, it damn well should be.)
