In the northeast New Jersey area, I have to sell a 1994 Dodge Intrepid sedan. Six-cylinder, basic trim, power windows, locks, seats, air conditioning, seats five easily. Good condition, as it has just been fully repaired at a cost that is greater than I can bear.

Oddly enough, though, I've never sold a car in my life, as such.

My first car, a beat-up Plymouth, I drove until it basically fell apart. Sold it for basically scrap value.

My second car, I never got around to selling, as it was turned into a ton of metal-and-plastic shrapnel by an SUV. So no real opportunity to sell anything there. ("For sale, one twisted wreck that used to be a Dodge Daytona Shelby. T-tops, now glass beads. Leather interior, now shredded. Turbo engine and stick-shift, now useable for little more than ballast. Will entertain best offer."

This car, however, is in good shape, and I find myself not knowing where to put it up for sale, how to describe it. (I found a site that would give the resale value of a car. If all goes well, according to that, I might make back most of the repair costs.)

So...

Anyone in the market for a used four-door, five-passenger sedan that is currently in a driveway in northeast New Jersey?

If not, any suggestions as to where's the best place to offer same for sale?

Does mysterious place where you work offer an employee Trading Post of some sort? Otherwise call the newspaper and place an ad, and put a FOR SALE sign in the window and park it somewhere visible as often as you can.
