Good, bad, indifferent
Sep. 29th, 2004 12:23 amWell, okay, there's not much indifferent about today.
Got assigned motorcade duty for a VP candidate event; was fairly fun. Or would have been if it hadn't been for the torrential rain.
Getting home from the event was much less fun; roads flooded all over, with closings willy-nilly blocking what seemed like every path home.
And when I got home and crawled into bed, my foot hit a patch of dampness that defied any form of logic. I looked up at the ceiling...
...and saw a crack. And dripping water. Dripping onto my bed.
Ye gods. And I've got to get some sleep, and I need to be frelling awake in four and a half hours...
This sucks. Not in any way that could be termed enjoyable, but in the blown-airlock exposure-to-hard-vacuum grisly-death-that-would-do-Angelus-proud sort of way.
