Too much noise

Dear Workers on the Fifth Floor:

Thanks for doing your irregular drilling and sawing with tools so powerful that I can feel them through the soles of my feet. You've given me reason to use earplugs for the first time since I was firing battle rifles in the infantry, and I always wondered what it would be like to go through life half-deaf.
