Can't win sometimes
Jul. 1st, 2009 11:09 amWent into the apartment building last night with my brother (who left today for the islands). Met a fellow resident of the building at the foyer door, and she said "you're the one with the air conditioner, right? You run it at night, and the noise keeps me awake all night!"
OK, yes, guilty, I have been running the air conditioner at night, at low power, on its sleep cycle (reduces power gradually, turns off after about six hours). Is it selfish of me to not want to deal with hundred-degree heat in my apartment? I had enough of that last year and the year before.
